For Rights Holders

Our role

Music-Step acts as an information intermediary under Art. 1253.1 of the Russian Civil Code. We do not initiate transmission of user content, do not modify it at our discretion, and are unaware of any infringement unless notified by the rights holder.

We review every rights holder claim within 24 hours of receipt and, where grounds exist, restrict access to the disputed material.

Required contents of a claim

• Rights holder name / entity, contact information
• Description of the protected work (track, cover, lyrics, trademark, etc.)
• Documents confirming rights (certificate, contract, dated publication)
• Exact URL or identifier of the infringing material
• Good-faith and accuracy declarations
• Signature (full name)

Knowingly false statements entail liability under Russian law (including Art. 306 of the Criminal Code and Art. 152 of the Civil Code).
